Drop off a minimum of 25 gently used items\, you’ll be a VIP\, and can shop the swap to your heart’s content. Swap spots are limited! \nIf you’re coming just to shop\, there will be a $10 entry fee\, and we ask that you limit items you take home from the swap itself to no more than 10. \nWhichever ticket you have\, our garage sale is sure to have something you’ll fall in love with! \n*We ask that all clothes brought to the swap are in good condition\, gently worn\, free of stains and tears\, and please\, no undergarments. \nAny items that don’t find a home will be donated to STEP2\, a non-profit devoted to breaking the cycle of addiction and abuse in families. \nWe’ll see you here on 9/11\, from 12-4\, for a day of sipping\, shopping and swapping!

DESCRIPTION:Calling all Reno – Tahoe business owners and heads of companies who would like to learn more about creating an engaging culture for their employees. The old world of work isn’t going to cut it going forward. Employees have more options these days and your workforce should be considered your greatest asset. Wouldn’t you want to have an engaged workforce who come to work feeling excited and supported? This leads to happier customers\, greater productivity\, lower turnover\, and a workplace environment that’s enjoyable. Maybe you think your culture is top notch. You provide lunches and have a ping pong table. Culture is so much more and it is always evolving. \nJoin us as for a discussion around employee experience and engagement. We’ll cover some strategies that have worked for both established companies and startups. The first meeting will be a discussion to discover some challenges that our Reno – Tahoe communities are facing with HR/People Operations\, including hiring\, and we’ll walk through an exercise or two. \nThis event will be co-hosted by Jared Byer and Rachel Macintyre. Jared has worked on creating an engaging culture at a variety of startups in the Bay Area and now heads up the company Talent Attractors working with clients such as Dataiku on their employer brand and recruitment marketing. Rachel Macintyre is the co-founder and owner of the Virgil\, with a long history of creating culture at a variety of companies including Apple.
