Wyld Women is hosting their next Stand Up in Reno, on 11/16! It’s time to get together and get inspired around a topic we think about a lot: Leadership. What does it mean to lead? Who is a leader that made a significant impact on your life? When push comes to shove, how can we find the self-confidence to step up, forge our own path and lead? Eight amazing women from the #RenoTahoe community are joining us to share their stories, and their own journeys with leadership.
Wyld Women Stand Up isn’t our normal event – think TedTalk meets Poetry Slam meets Open Mic night – a place where community members share what leadership means to them, in ways that speak to them. Chapter leader Hannah Martini will be leading the evening – and with her experience as a business and mindset coach, she’s been through successes and failures, and the highs and lows of taking charge.
These incredible ladies will be bringing their stories through personal narratives, spoken word, poetry, and other expressive forms. As we experience their stories, it’s an opportunity to think about the big questions. What does it mean to be a leader, in your own life, and in your community? How can we approach leadership with empathy and understanding, without sacrificing strength? And how can we pick ourselves and others back up when we fail?
It’s going to be an amazing night of connection, inspiration and good company. Your $25 ticket will include a beverage to enjoy. We’ll see you at The Virgil on 11/16, from 6-8pm.
